Charles Orlando⁸ Whitney (Charles⁷, Jonas⁶, Jonas⁵, David⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), born in Westminster, Massachusetts, 4 Feb 1830; married 27 Dec 1858, Mary C. Gordon; born 8 Aug 1840; died 8 May 1892. He died 20 Dec 1891.

Children of Charles Orlando⁸ and Mary C. (Gordon) Whitney:

i.	Charles P.9 Whitney, born 6 Sep 1861; married Armintia Stewart.
ii.	Florence Elvira Whitney, born 27 Mar 1865; married Ernest Andrew.
iii.	Merrill Whitney, born Aug., 1877; died infant.
iv.	Wilbur Jay Whitney, born 28 Dec 1880; resided St. Cloud, Minnesota.
