James Louville7 Whitney (James6, Joseph5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of James6 and Mary (Larrabee) Whitney, was born 30 May 1831, Gorham, ME, and died 1886.
He "J. L." married, Jun 1862, Clinton Gore, ME, Elvira Whitten[1] of Montville, ME. She was born about 1836, ME.
Children of James Louville7 and Elvira (Whitten) Whitney:
i. Arthur Warren8 Whitney, b. 13 Dec 1865, ME; d. 18 Jul 1941; m. Florence Allen, d. 17 Jan 1933. Both are buried in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Augusta, ME. They had one child: a. Edward A.9 Whitney, b. Feb 1895.
ii. Frank Perley Whitney, b. ca. 1871; m. Winifed F. Robbins, b. ca. 1833. They had two children: a. Grace Warren9 Whitney, b. 16 Nov 1904. b. Anne H. Whitney, b. abt. 1907.
