Jonathan Lowell⁹ Whitney (Silas⁸, Silas⁷, Silas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), born West Boylston, Massachusetts, 14 Mar 1828; married in Berlin, Jan. 6 1848, Hannah T. Moore, born 15 Sep 1829. He was in the express business. He died 26 Jan 1877; resided Leicester and Worcester, Massachusetts.

i.	Lucy Aroline10 Whitney, born 4 Apr 1849; married H. H. Bowman. She died s. p., Apr. 26. 1869.
ii.	Charles H. Whitney, born 22 May 1853; married Susie E. Blackmer.
iii.	William Henry Whitney, born 15 Dec 1854; married Mary Brennan.
iv.	Jenny Abby Whitney, born 2 Sep 1857; married 8 Dec 1880, Henry Hunt Browning, born Apr. 11 1856; resided 59 Webster St., Haverhill, Massachusetts, s.p. He is a civil engineer.
v.	Josephine Hannah Whitney, born 26 Mar 1860; married 29 Sep 1880, Frank D. Hayden; resided 19 Bellevue St., Worcester.
vi.	Margaret Osgood Whitney, born 23 Apr 1864; married 12 Nov 1884, Fred. W. Blackmer, resided 27 Westminster St., Worcester.
