James7 Whitney (Benjamin6, Jonathan5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Benjamin6 and Anna (Bangs) Whitney, was born 11 Jan 1809, Buxton, ME, and died A5 Apr 1864, Denmark, ME.

He married 26 Apr 1832, Sweden, Oxford Co., ME, Rachel W. Holden of Sweden, ME. She was born about 1812, ME.

He resided in Denmark, Oxford Co., ME, in the censuses of 1850 and 1860, where he was a farmer.

iv. Zebina G. Whitney, b. ca. 1847, prob. Denmark, ME; m. before 1880, Kate S. -----.
