Benjamin5 Whitney (James4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of James4 and Eleanor (Robbins) Whitney was born circa 1752; calculated from age at death[1] and died 19 May 1802 at Tyngsborough, MA; aged 49 years[2].
Benjamin married Mrs. Rebecca Danforth, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Richardson) Danforth, 1 Jul 1779 at Dunstable, MA; both "of Dunstable, N.H;", first wife.
Benjamin married Lois Brown 16 Nov 1797 at Dunstable, MA; both "of Dunstable, N.H;", second wife.
His father's estate was probated 4 Jul 1757 at Dunstable, MA; Thomas Harwood of Dunstable, N.H., innholder, was appointed guardian of John, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Lucy, all minors under 14, children of James Whitney, late of Dunstable, deceased, and posted bond with William Angier of Cambridge as surety; estate was probated 30 Mar 1778 at Dunstable, MA; gave a receipt to his guardian for his portion of his father's estate.
He was also known as Ens. Benjamin Whitney.
Mrs. Rebecca Danforth was born circa 1759; calculated from age at death. She was born on 16 Mar 1759 at Dunstable, MA. She died on 12 Feb 1794 at Tyngsborough, MA; in her 35th year.
There were no children of Benjamin5 and Mrs. Rebecca (Danforth) Whitney.
