William Perse6 Whitney (Micah5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Micah5 and Hannah (Cobb) Whitney, was born 3 May 1783, Gorham, ME, and died 30 Dec 1865, IL.
He married firstly, about 1805, Sarah Frank "of Gray".
He married secondly, 27 Oct 1823, Phillips, ME, Nancy I. Carlton. She died Marysville, KS.
He resided ME.
