Jackson7 Whitney (Abraham6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), born Hartford, Vermont, 7 Sep 1806; married at Chester, Oct., 1827, Caroline Matilda Baker, born Chester 7 Jul 1806; died 2 May 1890. He was a millwright and owned and conducted mills at Braintree, Northfield, West Randolph and Chester. He died 6 Nov 1882; resided Northfield, Vermont.
Children of Jackson7 Whitney:
i. May8 Whitney, born 10 Nov 1829; married Edwin O. Partridge; resided University Av., St, Anthony Park, Minn; has 2 ch. ii. Fanny E. Whitney, born 10 Sep 1831; married 29 Jan 1859, Edward F Stephens; resided s.p. 29 Davidson St., Hyde Park, Massachusetts. He was in the First U.S. Sharpshooters during the war and participated in numerous battles. iii. John B. Whitney, born 27 Jan 1835; married Elizabeth Caldwell.
