Sherman Whitney ( Thomas Hearns, Elhannan William, Hiram C.), son of Thomas Hearns and Charlsie (Chumley) Whitney,[1] was born 6 July 1923, Lester, Craighead County, Arkansas,[2] and died 21 Feb 1988, Paragould, Greene County, Arkansas.[3]
He married 19 Sep 1942, Craighead County, Arkansas,[4] Helen Virginia Coy , daughter of James and Artie Alice (Carlisle) Coy. She was born 18 Nov 1923, and died 15 Jul 2007, Lake City, Craighead County, Arkansas.
They lived in Dixie, Craighead County, Arkansas.
