Daniel6 Whitney (Joshua5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Joshua5 and Mary (Clarke) Whitney, was born 3 Jul 1763, Worcester, MA, and died 1852, Oxford, ME.

He married ----- -----, of whom nothing further is known.

He was born in Worcester, MA, and when quite a young man served in the Revolutionary war for three months. He suffered severely from exposure, and had a pension granted him 4 Mar 1831. He was a farmer, and resided Oxford, ME.

Children of Daniel6 and ----- (-----) Whitney:

i. Leafy7 Whitney, b. -----; m. Reuben Rich; resided Lawrence, MA.
