He married firstly, 22 Jun 1780, Medway, MA, Abigail Hamant, daughter of Timothy and Abigail (Adams) Hammond. She was born 29 Oct 1761, Medway, MA, and died 3 Aug 1816, Medway, MA, aged 54 years 9 months 5 days. She was also known as Abigail Hammond.

He married secondly, 18 Nov 1819, Medway, MA, "Mrs." Mercy Holbrook "of Bellingham" [int. "of Mendon"], daughter of Luke and Mercy (Pond) Holbrook. She was born 11 Nov 1767, Bellingham, MA, and died 28 Jul 1841, Bellingham, MA, aged 73 years. She "Mrs." had married firstly, 21 Apr 1785, Bellingham, MA, David Hill.
