Elijah5 Whitney (Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Abraham4 and Sarah5 (Whitney) Whitney,[1] was born 15 Feb 1754, Harvard, MA, and died 6 Jan 1834, Bolton, MA, aged 79 years.

He married 14 Apr 1772, Bolton, MA, Sarah Stearns, daughter of Benjamin and Dinah (Wheeler) Stearns. She was born 29 Dec 1751, Bolton, MA, and died 3 Oct 1812, Bolton, MA, aged 59 years.

He was a farmer. In 1779 he purchased a farm and settled in Bolton, MA, where his wife died.

He resided Bolton and Lancaster, MA.
