Albert Edwin8 Whitney (George Washington7, Joseph6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of George Washington7 and Maria Arvilla (Tenney) Whitney, was born 20 Nov 1867, Hubbardston, MA,[1] and died 3 Aug 1930, Worcester, MA.
He married firstly, 21 Mar 1888, Orange, MA, Mary E. "Mamie" Gokey, daughter of Frank S. and Mary Ann (Owen) Gokey.[2] She was born 5 Feb 1869, Johnson, VT, and died 26 Apr 1889, Orange, MA, aged 20 years 2 months 21 days, of phthisis pulmonaris.[3]
He married, 6 Jan 1892, Orange, MA, Lucy M. Shumway, daughter of Rufus T. and Georgiana E. (Goodridge) Shumway.[4] She was born 6 Aug 1871, Athol, MA, and died 30 Dec 1944, Allston, MA.
