He married firstly, 24 Aug 1866, Somersworth, NH, Emma Frances Folsom,[2] daughter of Benjamin F. W. and Annie (-----) Folsom. She was born 12 Dec 1848, Charlestown or Somerville, MA, and died 24 Dec 1868, Medford, MA, aged 20 years 12 days, of heart disease.[3]

He married secondly, 25 Jun 1890, Boston, MA, Amanda Condon, daughter of David and Sarah (-----) Condon.[4] She was born 14 Sep 1844, NS, and died after 1920.
