William H.8 Whitney (Josiah Francis7, Silas6, Josiah5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Josiah Francis7 and Mary (Moore) Whitney, was born 25 Mar 1859, ME, and died 26 Nov 1897.
He married, 10 Jun 1883, ME, Eva Lavinia Longley,[1] daughter of Elisha and Lovinia (Jones) Longley. She was born about 1855, Bingham, ME, and died after 1940. She married secondly, 29 Nov 1904, Anson or Solon, ME, Edmond Gould,[2] from whom she was divorced. She married thirdly (using her maiden name), 5 Nov 1910, Lowell or Solon, ME, Orrick H. Wakefield.[3]
