Horace Burnham9 Whitney (Horace Burnham8, Luther7, Nathaniel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Horace Burnham8 and Lucetta (Frazier) Whitney, was born circa 24 May 1830,[1] Lima, IL, and died 25 Dec 1882, Lima, IL.[2] He is buried in Fletcher Cemetery, Lima, IL.

He married, 27 Sep 1860, Hancock Co., IL, Virginia Woodworth,[3] daughter of Hiram and Polly R. (Glenn) Woodworth. She was born 16 Jan 1838, Lima, IL, and died before 1924.[4]
