Dennis8 Whitney (Nathan7, Nathan6, David5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Nathan7 and Ann Mary (Hensel) Whitney, was born 27 Nov 1821, VA, and died 6 Jan 1881, Peoria, KS, aged 59 years 1 month 8 days. He was buried in Howard Cemetery, Rantoul, KS.
He never married, but maintained a household with his unmarried sister Mahala. Several brothers and sisters lived with him.
