Constant Freeman7 Whitney (Constant6, Barnabas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Constant6 and Caroline R. (Fox)(Nichols) Whitney, was born 12 Aug 1836, Boston, MA, and died 16 Jan 1916, Norwood, MA.
He married 16 Jun 1855, Natick, MA, Maria Jane Houchins Colburn, daughter of Reuben H. and Lucy F. (----) Colburn of Groton, NH.[1] She was born 6 May 1841, New Hampshire, and died 8 Aug 1928, Norwood, MA.
Constant is buried in the Highland Cemetery, Norwood, MA. He was a farmer and a veteran of the Civil War. He and his widow received a pension from the U.S. government.
