Family:Whitney, Edmond Morris (1834-a1900)

Edmond Morris⁸ Whitney (Levi Taylor⁷, William⁶, Hezekiah⁵, Hezekiah⁴, Joseph³, John², Henry¹), son of Levi Taylor⁷ and Elizabeth Lyman (Clark) Whitney, was born 13 Sep 1834, Wolcott, VT, and died 5 May 1902, Waitsfield, VT.^[1]

He married, 19 Nov 1854, Warren, VT, Catharine Ellis Royce, daughter of Eastman and Lucy (Ellis) Royce. She was born 13 Jul 1835, Warren, VT, and died 29 Oct 1904.^[2]

Phoenix says:

". . . a farmer . . . . They dwelt at Fayston, Vt., till 1868; and then settled at Westfield, Vt., where they were living in Nov. 1874."

This family are all buried in Irasville Cemetery, Waitsfield, VT.

iii.	Lucy Elizabeth Whitney, b. 11 Nov 1861, Fayston, VT;[8] d. 16 May 1918, Waitsfield, VT;[9] m. 25 Nov 1880, VT, William J. Maxwell.
